The new images for MeMini spring/summer 2011 collection is finally here!

This time the inspiration is the wonderful art of swedish artists Carl Larsson and Elsa Beskow.

These two artists had their most productive periods in the  Art Nouveu period in the beginning of the 1900`s. Both are best known for their watercolor work in subtile and soft coloring with spots of color.

Carl Larsson did mostly portrait the daily life and his family, home and children, while Elsa Beskow is well knowned for her children books with a nature and fantasy universe.

 

In my photos I tried to find the spirit of this period and art by using the light and different whites as a base for the styling, and adding apples to add the summer feeling and freshness to the images.
